  Experience  Malaysia Week at Garden City 25 -30 August

A celebrity chef and renowned Batik designer have been flown in to celebrate Malaysia Week at Garden City Shopping Centre from Monday 25 to 30 August in the Promotions Court (near Woolworths). The week of events will introduce shoppers to the Malaysian culture with cooking demonstrations and tastings, batik painting and Malaysian dancing.

Plus, when you spend over $50 at any Garden City store during the week you can go into the chance to win a fabulous trip for 2 to Malaysia to experience all that Malaysia has to offer first hand! Visit either the Malaysian display or the Information Desk for an entry coupon and full terms & conditions.

Kids are also invited to take part in a colouring in competition which will run from Monday 18 August - Friday 22 August 2008.  Entry to the Malaysian Week kids colouring in competition is open to all children from ages 3-12 years old. There are 3 categories on entry drawings: 3-5 year olds (Men of the Jungle); 6-8 years old (Under the Sea) and 9-12 (Malaysian Culture).

Prizes include fuji finepix digital cameras, gift vouchers and orang utan toys.

Entry drawings can be obtained from the Information Desk, located in the Central Fashion Mall.
