GARDEN CITY WINS PERTH’S BEST SHOPPING CENTRE

 
Garden City was unanimously voted Perth’s Best Shopping Centre by 92.9 listeners on Tuesday, 20 November as part of the station’s ‘The Best in Perth’ competition.

Garden City was a clear front runner throughout the day receiving 32% of the total votes. Karrinyup Shopping Centre took out second place with 18.9% of the votes.

Garden City Senior Marketing Manager, Nicky Graham was excited to hear the centre had won the coveted title of Perth’s Best Shopping Centre. “We’d like to thank all the retailers that make Garden City a fantastic place to shop for people both north and south of the river and thanks to everyone for voting for us,” she said.

Every afternoon the team from 92.9 awards someone, someplace or something ‘The Best in Perth’. So far they’ve handed out awards to the best school, hairdresser, restaurant and sporting team in Perth.

The award is also in recognition of Garden City’s dedication to helping the community. In the lead up to Christmas the centre is helping the Starlight Children’s Foundation Australia by selling special Starlight Christmas decorations.  Garden City Shopping Centre is also supporting the celebrity on-line Christmas bauble auction to be launched on 26 November with all proceeds going to Starlight.

Customers are invited to bid on Christmas tree baubles signed by their favourite celebrities including Hugh Jackman and ‘The Rock’.
